We invite you to Ben Franklin Community Garden for a fun filled morning painting in the garden! We invite you to a kid friendly paint party fundraiser in the beautiful and historic Ben Franklin Community Garden, located in Old Brooklyn. We are raising funds for the community garden, so a portion of your ticket will go towards projects and upgrades! Thank you for your support :) Your ticket includes : 1 wooden cut out of your choice: Butterfly or a Dragonfly! If you are signing up your child, there will be a seat for you to work on the single cut out together. If the parent would also like to paint (to have both cut outs), you would also need to purchase a ticket. If two kids want to paint, two tickets would need to be purchased, and there would be three chairs for the guardian and 2 kids the day of the event. If you are an adult and you want to join the class, that is absolutely an option as well! This is an all ages event. This project photo banner is just an example of endless creations that could be done on the cut outs. Cory will demonstrate beginners blending with primary colors, while showing how primary colors turn into secondary colors! Everyone will have complete creative freedom to go off on their own original design after becoming familiar with the fundamentals of acrylic painting. Your artist will be walking around and helping guide, create, and support all the painters! You will be able to walk away with something you are proud of! In the case of rain, there is an indoor classroom right next to where the garden event will be taking place at. We will begin at 10 am! Please arrive 10 min early to check in and get situated! Please reserve your seat in advance through our ticket link in this event page. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite. You will receive an Email confirmation with your ticket after purchasing. You do not need to print this out the day of. Please feel free to bring any snacks and beverages to enjoy while in the oasis! _____________ PARKING : The Garden is located at 1905 Spring Rd, right behind Ben Franklin Elementary school. You can park in the school lot and walk over, or park on Tampa Ave. where there is also an entrance gate and walk up the front.
