Description
Cirque de Minuit (The Midnite Circus) is an outdoor aerial-entertainment show for all ages! Come be enchanted and thrilled by our spectacle! Arts for All! Boulder Library Foundation and PLAY Boulder Foundation are proud to present accessible tickets to patrons. Arts in the Park was created to reactivate the City’s local arts and culture organizations, and Boulder’s Civic Area, after the devastating effects of COVID-19 on the performing arts community. If you have the means, we encourage you to purchase tickets. We know that the challenges presented by the health pandemic were not limited to just the arts community. To ensure that this year’s inaugural program is accessible to all, the Boulder Library Foundation and PLAY Boulder Foundation are proud to offer FREE tickets to Boulder community members who are experiencing financial hardship. 25 tickets are available per performance, minimum of 1, maximum of 4 tickets per household per performance. Cirque de Minuit -The Midnite Circus: JULY 10, 2 SHOWS: 6 PM and 8 PM. Loosely Inspired by Erin Morgenstern's "The Night Circus", CdM bursts forth with characters of our own devising: Sybil the Snake Woman slithers up and down aerial fabric, the Black Widow Spider weaves her web on the aerial hoop, Addy Venturer the Fearless conquers the rope and steals our hearts, the Bird of Paradise shows her colors, Burlerina (half man/half woman) finds love on her stilts and more! A magical variety show that will intrigue and delight audiences of all ages! Since 1974, the Boulder Library Foundation has been enriching the Boulder Public Library experience by providing funding for literacy, cultural, and creative programs, not covered by the City of Boulder’s budget. Our Library is the cornerstone of our community. And programs are the cornerstone of our Library. By funding programs like BLDG 61 Makerspace, Lego Story Club, and Computer Science Education Week, the Boulder Library Foundation is working to ensure our Library’s remarkable work continues far into the future.
