Every last Sunday of the month, Ngọc offers a practice of presence through Yoga at Grain Traders in West Hollywood from 10-11:30 AM. Please join Ngọc Can of JustBeHere for a morning of mindful movement, breath work and meditation. You will be guided through a series of postures that encourage you to feel your body. Class is accessible to all levels and a beginner’s mindset is encouraged. Remember to bring: A matWater bottleMask (mask is required upon entry and may be taken off while you are on your mat).JustBeHere is a project that creates a mindful experience for the senses. Our purpose is teaching the practice of physical and spiritual presence through movement and social relationships. This event is free and donations are appreciated. Ngọc is a free spirit who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Đà Lạt, Vietnam, Ngọc and her family immigrated to the United States when she was 3 years old. Her passion lies in diversity & inclusion, advocacy for mindfulness, and education within the community. Ngọc has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and has experience teaching children from 5 years old to 16 years old. She has been practicing yoga since 2012 and received her Yoga Certification in 2016. Ngọc’s classes are vinyasa based and she teaches the practice of presence through breath-work, postures and meditation. Ngọc incorporates all of the senses throughout her classes.
