Due to Covid, capacity limited is our sanctuary currently. Please pre-register for worship, we would love for you to join us in person! Dear 1st UMC of Henderson Church Family, It has been a challenging year of pandemic. We have taken physical distancing seriously during this time and it has been effective in keeping our church family and the broader Henderson community healthy and safe. Considering decreasing cases of Covid and increasing numbers of vaccinations in our congregation, coupled with changes in government and official health recommendations for group gatherings, our re-opening team has decided it is time to begin the phases of re-opening! Capacity in the sanctuary will be limited to the first 100 people to register. We ask that a "ticket" be registered for each individual within a family/pod so we can have an accurate count. If you are not one of the first 100 people to register, then you will be added to a waiting list in the order by which you registered. We also invite you to join us by way of Facebook. The service will be live-streamed Facemasks that cover both your mouth and nose will be required at all times, and ushers will seat family groupings/pods to ensure safe distancing once seated. We are excited to share physical space together again, and are grateful for the care, thought effort, and discernment the re-opening team has put into making this a safe gathering! This will be our weekly process to prepare for communal Sunday worship moving forward for the foreseeable future. We love you and are excited to worship together! ! !
