Learn fundamentals and effective techniques to start surfing now Have you ever wanted to get into surfing but just have been too intimidated? Or, have you been surfing for some time but still struggling with getting some nice rides and consistency in your popups? Do you want to surf out the back with all the other surfers but your skills are not up to par yet? This is the right place for you to get all the foundational building blocks to get you as far as you want to go in your surfing journey. Getting barreled in sick 10 foot waves in Indo? I can get you there! Longboarding and cross stepping mellow 4 foot point break waves in Tourmaline? I can get you there! Surfing is pure stoke and I can share all my 30+ years of knowledge with you. ***Recommended Skill Level *** - None to very little surf experience - None to very little paddling skills (Must be able to swim. If you can't swim I can provide private swimming lessons) - Inefficient popup such as using knee or one-two step - Can't get a long ride all the way in - Still struggling with wave reading, popup timing and nosediving - Still working on accomplishing riding 90% of all waves Coaching will be held in the inside surfing broken waves (white foam). We might paddle out if conditions (waves in the 1-3 foot range) ***Important*** This group session is not advisable for individuals who: - have very little to no ocean experience - are intimidated or not comfortable in an ocean environment - are not confident in their swimming skills (If any of the above describes you it is strongly emphasized that you take private lessons before engaging in any group sessions.
