Seasoned foundation drummer looking for like minds and experience to play events. I have a vast performance history, but career name dropping would be a waste of time for all of us and it’s really all about what is going on NOW, right? The proof is in the playing! let's play and see if it works. Looking for semi-retired Road Dogs that have all the experience and want to keep playin' I have connections to corporate events and would love to have a good product to sell. I am a pocket player with focus on the band and the tunes in the original form and grooves. It’s all about the pocket (especially the shuffles). It’s not what you know, it’s how you apply it. Experience is the key to a great pocket band. Ever work with a drummer that fills over all the vocals and instrumental passes? Well, that’s not me! How about the drummer that cymbal crashes at the beginning and end of every measure! Really? FYI….Charlie Watts never crashes a cymbal except for the very beginning and the very end of the original Honky Tonk Woman...............I know your gonna’ listen to it again now aren’t you? Ever work with a drummer and band that play old R&B and Soul tunes at disco tempos? That’s so wrong! lol Perfect world would be Keys, Bass, Guitar with everyone singing. A female player vocalist would be great. Singing Saxophonist is always welcome. I also sing (lead and harmony). Looking for singing players that already know all the standard tunes in the Old Classic Rock, R&B, Soul, Roots, Americana, Blues (both kinds) and Classic Country genres. NO new pop country!!! 50's, 60's & 70's, not looking for 80's and up. Looking for players that only need to rehearse intro’s, outro’s and segues to put strong sets together, not looking to teach anyone these songs, I already know them and I’m looking for the players that have the same basic library of experience. There is an amazing amount of great tunes that seasoned players know well and I know you are out there, so let’s try to get together and play. Please………..no original, new contemporary or stream of consciousness players as I am looking for classic seasoned foundation roots players only (you know who you are). If you know what the expression “Tang The Hump” means, without looking it up on the internet..………….I want to hear from you!
