All proceeds will benefit the Joseph Clay Sherwood Memorial Scholarship Fund, created in 2017 to honor Joe’s legacy of kindness. Through this fund, recipients of Arnall Middle School’s Noble Knight Award, which recognizes a student who has wholeheartedly assisted another in a noble and selfless way, receive a minimum $1,500 scholarship upon their high school graduation. Joe was the inspiration for the award’s creation when he was its first recipient in 2007. The Joseph Clay Sherwood Memorial Scholarship Fund is held at The Coweta Community Foundation, a non-profit organization under IRS code 501(c)(3). A portion of your ticket has tangible value and will not have deductibility under IRS guidelines. The Coweta Community Foundation's Tax ID is 58-2348181. This scholarship is awarded to the winner of the Noble Knight Award at Arnall Middle School, which recognizes an 8th grade student that assisted others in a noble and selfless way. Joe Sherwood was the first recipient of the Noble Knight Award, and his familiy hopes this scholarship will honor those who follow his example in living life with open arms.
