Press release from the Newton South High School PTSO: June 24, 2021 DCL Awards The DCL has awarded the Robert M. Chrusz Sportsmanship Award to South students Emily Ball and Will Lavey for their leadership, sportsmanship, and commitment to our community. Bob Chrusz was a long-time Athletic Director at Newton South. He was a champion for better sportsmanship in our league and a strong leader that left his mark on the state.
