DENVER, CO — Colorado and Denver public health officials gave the green light for the Colorado Rockies to host crowds at full capacity in Coors Field, the team announced in early June.
A crowd of 50,000 are set to be welcomed into the stadium Monday for 'Opening Day 2.0' against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The game was originally set to start at 6:40 p.m., but now it's scheduled to begin at 3:10 p.m., the team said. The traditional home opener fanfare, including fireworks and the national anthem, will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Fans should enter at the gate shown on their tickets to avoid crowding, and they are encouraged to arrive early — the first 15,000 fans who head through the gates June 28 will receive a commemorative T-shirt, the team said.
Coors Field parking lots are scheduled to open at 12:30 p.m., and entry gates open at 1:30 p.m.
