NAPERVILLE, IL — Localized flooding closed parts of at least two roads in Naperville Saturday afternoon, as a flood watch and tornado watch were in effect for DuPage and Will counties. Here's a little 30 seconds of VO for any of my Chicago news station friends if needed. This is Naperville, which has already seen enough weather. Just credit…anything else pops up, I got you. pic.twitter.com/NayPKyA5Dq— Ben Hutchison (@Ben__Hutchison) June 26, 2021 (video taken by Ben Hutchison near Gartner Road and Whirlway Avenue; Tweet shared with permission) As of 1 p.m., Washington Street was closed at Bailey Road and Julian Street was closed at Prairie Avenue. A tornado watch was in effect for DuPage, Will, Cook and Grundy counties until 7 p.m. A flash flood warning was in place for DuPage, Will and Cook counties until 6:15 p.m. Related: Tornado Watch, Flash Flood Warning Issued For Chicago Area Residents were advised not to drive through flooded areas and to call 630-420-6187 to flooding.
