BAY POINT, CA — Fire crews on Sunday afternoon responded to a 30-acre brush fire along the Port Chicago Highway, near the unincorporated communities of Clyde and Bay Point. The blaze was reported about 2:30 p.m., close to the Port Chicago Highway near Kinne Boulevard. As of 3:45 p.m., forward progress of the blaze had been stopped, Cal Fire said.
