Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/25/2021  211762026 Preliminary information: On June 25, 2021 at around 8:33 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Auburn Ave NE and Peachtree St NE on a person stabbed call.  Upon arrival, officers located a male with an apparent stab wound to the neck.  The male was transported to the hospital alert, conscious and breathing for further medical treatment.  Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was involved in a verbal dispute with a male and female at the location that led to a physical altercation.  During the altercation, the female stabbed the victim.  The female and male were detained on scene.  Charges are anticipated and the investigation continues.   Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
