Title: Carpentry/General Labor Location: Duluth, GA 30096 Pay: $15-$17hr (Weekly pay) Duration: 12 months (potential for permanent) Full-time: M-F Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision) Do you have experience working with use of tape measures, saws, drills, Pneumatic nailers, and screw guns? For more than 30 years, they have helped shape how consumers, businesses, governments and military around the world communicate. They are looking Carpentry/General Labor to join their team. If you meet the job qualifications, we would love to hear from you! You will responsible for building crates and using typical carpentry tools. Packaging products for shipments to customers, and meticulously checking that all parts to be shipped are accounted for and insuring quality control in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, productivity and accuracy. You will be trained to operate a sit down forklift, stand-up forklift, or cherry picker in performance. You will inspect and report maintenance required for equipment. Job Responsibilities: Use of tape measures, saws, drills, Pneumatic nailers, and screw guns Crating and packaging products for shipments to customers Checking that all parts to be shipped are accounted for Quality control in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, productivity and accuracy As need, operate a sit down forklift, standup forklift, or cherry picker in performance of your Crating duties ( training provided) Inspect and report maintenance required equipment Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience in carpentry and/or wood work or general labor Experience with use of tape measures, saws, drills, Pneumatic nailers, and screw guns Experience in wood working- for example, able to build a basic box etc Interested in building crates and cutting, and measuring, and nailing wood into boxes Interested in being trained in stand-up and sit-down forklifts with handling the crates Some knowledge of barcode scanning and/or RFID equipment Must have ability to lift 50 lbs if needed (Physical testing will be required) Basic math and computer knowledge US Citizenship required Must Pass background check Please send your resume.
