Trying to find the final piece in a fantastic band that has played the circuit in the valley for many years. Been quiet the last few with covid etc. Our songlist includes the likes of Boston, Kansas, Styx, Foreigner, Journey, Whitesnake, Ozzy, VH, Supertramp, and many others. Our vocals and harmonies are coming together very strong. Looking for a guitarist who can handle the complexity of many of these classic solos as we try to perform them as accurately as possible. We practice once a week (in the Gilbert area). Lead singer is also the backup guitarist and has moved this along while waiting for the right lead guitarist. If you have conflicts with other band commitments or don't really love the artists mentioned above, this may not be the right project for you. Also, we will be making money but not the sort of band that will be playing out every weekend. Looking at around 3 shows a month on average, ideally Friday/Saturday opportunities. If you are just in this for the money only then this may not work. Just getting all expectations out up front so we don't waste your time.
We have great chemistry, all get along great and with the right guitarist will be ready in a few months. Getting local gigs wont be hard as our band has played the valley. Our goal is to target bigger venues including corporate, casinos, etc. We are discussing marketing strategy regarding venues we want to play, live demo, etc. We took the time to explain what we are all about so if you are interested please do the same.
