Fauntleroy Way SW near California Ave SW, Seattle WA
Description
I have a small electrical job for a licensed, qualified electrician.
I would like to improve my circuit box in such a way that the double gang 30amp you see here (marked “upstairs lights and receptacles) in the attached photo gets just a touch more amperage—32-35 amps ought to cover it (though 40amps would be ideal).
When we run two portable air conditioners upstairs, or the whole house fan plus many lights or a TV, we occasionally run into that breaker tripping. I am hoping there is some economical way to de-tangle these circuits a bit and get a touch more amperage for that upstairs? Perhaps by installing 2-3 of those 15amp slim breakers to get another breaker slot or two freed up?
There are two bedrooms on that double breaker. House was built in 2004. Happy to have you out to give me an estimate or just do the work if it appears feasible (and done to code).
