We are a Home Owners Association with a full-time opportunity for an individual possessing the skills and knowledge necessary to maintain the Common Area of a 140-unit Condominium complex located in Pacoima, CA. Below is a list of some of the requirements for this position: • General knowledge of grounds keeping. (sprinkler systems, lighting systems, wrought iron fencing, gutter and light roof maintenance/repair etc.) • Good communication skills. • Must be courteous and respectful of all residents at all times. • Bilingual in English and Spanish (English is required. Spanish is a plus) • Self-starter able to work independently but must also be able to take direction from the Lead Maintenance member as well as HOA Board members. • Be punctual and reliable. • Must have an active bank account (payroll is deposited electronically, no exceptions) • Must be in good physical condition (may be required to dig ditches and/or climb a ladder) • Most, if not all, work will be done outside, rain or shine. • Must be able to assist with troubleshooting electrical and sprinkler system faults. • Willing to perform other related maintenance activities as needed. This is a full-time hourly position with five paid holidays, five paid Sick Days and two weeks paid vacation. Sick Day and Vacation hours must be accrued before they can be used. You must agree to submit to a drug test and possibly a background check. Immediate start date after new hire paperwork is processed.
