I don’t really trust Auto Repair shops so I’m looking for a new personal mechanic. My current guy, who I’ve had for 10 years, is having medical issues and needs to focus on his health. I pay $40 an hour, actual time (no flag hours) and you will come to my home in Rio Rancho, near 528/Northern. I have plenty of tools which my previous mechanic found sufficient, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like. I own Toyota and Lexus so nothing major needs to be done. I just need someone I can trust to do tune ups, fluid exchanges/fills, brakes, alternators, timing belts/water pumps radiators, etc. Nothing major, but stuff I’d rather not do any more. If you’re interested in a long-term wrenching gig, I’d start you on small jobs and see how you do, how honest you are, and go from there. I used to refer lots of people to my old mechanic, so if you’re honest and capable, you’ll get other work too, because all the people I referred to my old guy will need a new one.
