This is a great opportunity for college students who are looking to make some extra money while on vacation or if you have some free days from your other part-time job to make some extra money working locally part-time one or two days a week as a mover! We are looking for a part-time person to join our team for the upcoming months, starting with 2-4 days a week (could be more with availability), preferred work schedule time early mornings to afternoon, Monday-Saturday, but there will be some longer days! Pay is based on experience, job responsibilities and performance evaluation time, ranging from $13.50-$15.50 per hour, plus tips! Moving is a physically demanding job, so you must be in good physical condition and able to be on your feet, go up and down the stairs, and lift heavy objects repeatedly over period of many hours. Also must be capable and comfortable to perform the following tasks while wearing a face mask, if not fully vaccinated or the customer requires it. REQUIREMENTS: - Must be dependable and have reliable transportation - Be honest, trustworthy, reliable and show up on time - Good customer communication, polite, clean cut and courteous - Previous moving experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate - Must be able to work short and long days in different weather elements - Must be able to listen and follow orders from the customers and team members - Must be able to have strong back and able to lift at least 50lbs - Must be able to go up and down stairs without any trouble or issues - Must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and be detail oriented - Be available to work short and long days, depending on the job(s) - Ability to solve problems and knowledge of basic use of tools This position is for a person who enjoys physical work, travel, problem solving, working in different environments everyday, both inside and outside.
