We are a drone thermal mapping company located in Southern Oregon looking for someone with a CURRENT RED CARD or RT-130 Refresher to assist our operation. Our mission is to provide accurate and timely IR data to incidents assisting fire managers and ground resources during and after an incident. Job Details: Fire assignments are unpredictable and must be okay with being on call and ready to go within a few hours of notice. Job entails working long swing and night shifts. Map data is collected throughout the night into early morning. Assignments can last up to 2 weeks, and if available, hotel room is provided to rest during the day. Drone mapping crew consists of two people, a drone pilot, and visual observer assisting and mapping throughout the night. Qualifications: - Drone flight experienced preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right person. - Must have Red Card that is current or RT-130 Refresher - Be able to read maps and navigate forest roads - Drivers License - No history of falling asleep at the wheel. Must be confident driving all night - Experience in wildland fire operations a huge plus
