We are seeking hard working, enthusiastic individuals to fill our part-time and full-time warehouse associate/driver positions in our wholesale warehouse company, Iron Star Roasting Position Summary As the warehouse associate/delivery driver, you will be working with the warehouse manager and other associates to pick, pack and deliver orders for our retail stores and wholesale customers. You will also help receive and organize inventory on a weekly basis, as well as making sure that our warehouse space is maintained and cleaned everyday. Delivery/Shipping: Pick orders from customer packing lists Prepare and load orders on pallets or bins in an organized manner Use pallet wrap/stretch wrap machine as necessary Ensure that all items have been picked accurately Load trucks/vans and make deliveries to customers in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas Receiving: Receive, unload and verify all incoming inventory for accuracy of shipment Inspect all items for damage and document/notify manager as needed Operate dollies/carts, pallet jack, forklift and any other necessary equipment to handle inventory Put away shipments in a timely manner to ensure aisles and docks are clear Stock all shelves while checking expiration dates to ensure any perishable items are being properly rotated so inventory does not expire Ensure all shelves are stocked and displayed in an organized fashion for walk-in customers and wholesale accounts Warehouse: Maintain organization throughout the warehouse Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse while ensuring all trash and cardboard are in proper receptacles Maintain all warehouse equipment and notify manager of any damage or needed repairs/replacements Store pallets in like-sizes in an organized manner Label products with pricing stickers Weigh, portion, pack and sticker products in an efficient manner while meeting display standards (such as candy bags, coffee, etc.) Qualifications: Regular Monday-to-Friday availability – some weekends may be required depending on wholesale demand Available for our typical work hours of 8AM-4PM Part-time and full-time positions available Driver’s license Work permit if applicable This is an entry level job – any equipment required to operate will be learned on-site Requirements: Ability to lift 30-60 pounds Stand, walk, lift and reach while working on your feet for 8 hours a day Ability to drive a delivery van/truck and navigate through Pittsburgh and surrounding areas Work in an organized, efficient manner with the warehouse team to meet delivery deadlines through effective communication and teamwork Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurnace Health Savings Account Paid time-off (sick/personal/vacation) Holiday time-off Opportunity for advancement with a local, growing company Please send a resume, or fill out the online application to be considered for an interview!
