FOUND on June 24, 2021 in Gresham, OR 97230 near 196th & Glisan Has been scanned for a chip. None was found! This girl does not know any basic commands. I truly do not believe she has ever been hse trained. She is extremely tired and is just now starting to relax after being in my care for the last 5 hours in my hme as a foster placement. I have been keeping a bowl of water out for her at all times as well as a bowl of food, but she has barely touched the food. She keeps trying to take the food I take out of the fridge for me and my kids. But I repeat firm boundaries with her. Description: Female Siberian Husky, Malamute mix. She was found with a choker chain too tight around her neck, so I took it off of her the moment I got her to my hme and it will not be getting put back on her. She is a bit shy and timid but follows me around the hse. She was extremely afraid when I merely showed her a proper leash and colar. She is tuxedo colored. Not spayed, and she does have an injury. She has an extremely thick coat. She looks and feel as though she has not had a bath in a couple months. She does have some very special characteristics that I will not list. I don’t want her to go to the wrong person claiming to be her owner. I currently have her at my hme in Cornelius as a temporary foster until her hme and owner is found. If you feel that this dog truly is yours, please be ready to be asked to show vet records and a picture of you and the dog. If 30 days passes and no owner and hme is found, I will contact the local animal shelter and let them know I will be searching for a rescue specific to her breed to take her in.
