PART-TIME HELPER NOT SUB CONTRACTORS Looking for a part time helper for residential exterior and interior painting. We have all tools, equipment and company vehicles. We are a family owed and looking for help to increase our book of business. Covid19 really impacted our company and we are finally starting to pick back up. More work means we need more crews! Most jobs are vacant properties or new construction. We are looking for a skilled, professional and experienced painter (not someone who has painted a bedroom) You must: * Have a valid drivers license and a clean record * Have own transportation to work shop and arrive on time * Speak, read and understand English clearly * Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively * Ability to work independently and or in a team environment * Accurately read, understood, and carry out written instructions *Follow company procedures to maintain work environment in a neat and orderly condition *Clean work area, maintain shop and tools; including assigned vehicle * Follow all precautions and proper technique when using tools, machinery and equipment safely and properly Job Responsibilities & Duties: * Ability to use and maintain paint brushes, roller, spray guns and other painting tools and equipment. * Experience with pressure washing * Repair / prep drywall for painting; fill in nail holes, cracks and joints with caulk * Remove fixtures, such as doors and electric switch covers from walls prior to painting, using the screwdriver * Spread drop cloths over floors and room furnishings * Cover items with masking tape and paper to protect other surfaces during painting from overspray * Familiar with painting all types of wall surfaces such as texture * Fully inspected finished product for any drops, missed spots, runs or sags PAY: * 1099 (you are responsible to pay your own taxes) * Checks are paid every Friday after 2pm; if you choose to work on the weekends, pay will be added to the following Friday's check * Start off pay is $125 per day for the first job; If you are looking for top dollar I do not mind paying your worth; your first job with me will show your experience.
