Cat5 is a group of professional musicians all with one common purpose, to provide the best music for people all around the country. Group 5 Entertainment Inc. is excited to announce the formation of the Cat5 Band with band members Jerry Thomas West, Camron Dudley, Glen Tippett, Hugh Blanton, and Tim Sidden. Your 2020 Annual Pass admits you into this event. Children 12 and under who are accompanied by parents or guardians are admitted free to Amphitheatre events covered by the annual pass. Note that applies only to events at the Amphitheatre. FAQs Will masks be required? The Surry Arts Council is now allowing fully vaccinated customers to attend outdoor events mask-free, in accordance with the federal guidelines, as long as doing so does not violate state or local face-covering mandates. According to the CDC, people are fully vaccinated when they are two weeks past receiving their second Pfizer or Moderna dose or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine By attending any event associated with the Surry Arts Council, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending the event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold the Surry Arts Council liable for any illness or injury. What time does the gate open? Gates will open one hour prior to show time. There are three entrances located around the venue marked "GATE." Exchange your ticket for an armband. Children 12 and under are admitted free for the 2020 summer series at the Amphitheatre. What are my parking options for the event? Wine and beer from Thirsty Souls Community Brewing and hot dogs and snacks from the Dairy Center will be available for purchase. No outside alcohol or coolers are allowed in the Amphitheatre area. Lawn chairs or picnic blankets are recommended. What is the refund policy? Ticket sales are non-refundable. Are Pets Allowed? Only service animals as defined by the ADA are permitted at the Amphitheatre. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained at all times. What is the weather policy? In the case of inclement weather, decisions to move the performance indoors will be made no later than 5 pm on the day of the performance. If an event is relocated indoors, seating will be first come, first served due to limited capacity and children 12 and under will require a ticket. Are there public restrooms? ADA compliant public restrooms are located in the lower level of the Municipal Building, 231 Spring Street, Mount Airy NC 27030 and the Mount Airy Public Library, 145 Rockford Street, Mount Airy NC 27030. Where is smoking permitted? The Blackmon Amphitheatre is a non-smoking area. Smoking is only permitted in the parking lots. Is the venue handicap accessible? Patrons with mobility issues should use the Municipal Building parking, 231 Spring Street, Mount Airy NC 27030. The restrooms in the lower level of the Municipal Building are handicap accessible.
