In this three hour class, students will be introduced to art journaling and guided with prompts as well as basic mixed-media and collage In this three hour class, students will be introduced to art journaling and guided with prompts as well as basic mixed-media and collage techniques to complete several art journal pages. Students will need to bring a mixed-media art journal or mixed-media paper pad and pen to write with. All other materials provided. (Mixed-media paper pads are available for purchase in the retail section of Vancouver Art Space.) The theme of this beginning art journal class is Follow your Bliss. The prompts will have an emphasis on personal desires and aspirations. This is a great class to clear some of the COVID cobwebs from the brain!All materials and supplies are included Ages 15+ August 28th3pm-6pm$48*A properly worn face covering is required for students and staff while in class. Pamela Sue Johnson is an artist and art instructor with a knack for helping the creatively challenged. She helps guide new students as well as seasoned art makers with imaginative mixed-media and abstract art techniques. An intuitive artist, Pamela provokes her students to trust themselves as they lean into their creative processes. Our program encourages confidence, fuels creativity and sparks artistic exploration.
