Originally from the UK, as a man of many talents, he is not only a DJ with guest spots in the USA, UK and Europe, but a music producer, remixer, and promoter of Cleveland club nights Disfunktional and Resurrection Funk Club. Mike-One’s sound can often be described as beat orientated, sample laden, funk, boogie, and disco, mixed with old skool hip hop and original breaks. Playing exclusively on 2 turntables cutting back and forth and scratching with 45’s, his mixing crosses genres seamlessly, as he builds and creates dynamic up-tempo sets for dance floors. As a producer, Michael is currently working on his new cut soon to be released on 45, which blends heavy beats, rolling bass, funk horns, and samples for an epic 4 minute floor burner - on the flip, an alternative, de-constructed hip hop mix, packed with soul stabs and keys are the flavor of the day.
