We focus on middle school students who have have high ability and low resources. We support urban schools utilizing novel models to improve student success. Our main recipients have been the Hartford Schools, Covenant Prepratory (boys) and Grace Academy (girls). This year we added Triniity School (elementary ) in an effort to add continuity to our middle school focus. 85 percent of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. JOTV events provide audience members with an intimate music experience while simultaneously supporting underprivileged youth. SATO collaborates with educators, schools, students and parents equally committed to increasing the development of talented young scholars who will realize their potential and be poised to assist and elevate their local communities.
