Walking tours and hikes are limited to 8 people per group to allow for social distancing. 2. Tour and hike tickets are for one person regardless of age. 3. Tickets MUST be presented at the tour /hike- no admission without a ticket. 4. Children under 10 are not recommended on the hike. 5. The ticket donation is $45 per person regardless of age. 6. The tour and hike lasts no more than 2 hours. 7. The tour path and hiking trail are over gravel, dirt, grass and undulating, uneven terrain. 8. Tours begin and end promptly at the designated tour time. We suggest planning to arrive 10-15 minutes early however, we ask that you stay in your car until your designated tour time. At your tour time, proceed to the Visitor Center to check in and sign our visitor waiver. 9. We can not accommodate late arrivals. 10. The only public bathroom facility during tours is a handicapped friendly port-a-potty. REFUNDS, CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS Due to the limited availability of each tour, there are no refunds or changing dates allowed after tours are ticketed. In the event a tour has to be cancelled an alternate tour date will be scheduled. Cancelled tours will be published on the event page as soon as we know there is an issue. Please check the event page before coming out. WEATHER The tour and hike may be cancelled due to weather (heat, rain, or other hazzards for humans and animals). Please check the weather for 24538 (Concord, VA) for advisories before coming out. DIRECTIONS Please note that most GPS and mapping systems take you to the wrong address. Use "PVDR East" in the Google Maps search bar, and it will bring you right to the entrance. The visitor parking lot is to the right, just past the green entry gate. ADOPTER APPLICANTS Please note: If you are an adopter applicant, you are of course welcome to join the tour and hike, but this is a facility tour and fun activity - not for meeting adoptable donkeys. Our tour guides are not part of the adoption team and will not be able to show you adoptable donkeys or talk about specific adoptable donkeys
