Kingdom Avenue Inc is transforming the corridor at 63rd and Halsted Street into an immersive HBCU experience! We will host this historic event in the heart of the community full of black and brown children! This experience will provide entertainment from fraternities and sororities all around the country, an explosive band performance, all while highlighting opportunities for access to quality higher education by introducing the community to multiple HBCU admission representatives. This experience will also provide resources that meet the immediate needs of the community, such as 1000 backpacks for elementary and high school students, scholarship opportunities for students planning to attend an HBCU, 500 college care kits high school seniors, free food, and healthcare necessities provided by local clinics. We have also partnered with the following community organizations and local and state government officials to deepen the impact of this event:
