We adopted her in August 2019 from a local shelter that found her abandoned. The shelter estimated her age at around 2 years old. We had her fixed, got all her shots and brought her home. We have 2 cats already, she got along with them just fine. We had a 10 month old when we adopted her and she was a great floor cleaner for us. She is protective of our little girl, but I think she also treats her like another dog, running past her and knocking her over and playing a bit too rough. She loves people so much, and would thrive in a home where she has lots of attention and children she can not push over (maybe 5 or older). She is a gentle dog that loves being the protector of the house. She is very friendly and gets very excited when new people come to visit. She likes chasing squirrels and birds but prefers to be near people inside rather than outside alone. We love her very much, but this just isn’t the right home for her. We ask a small rehoming fee, but will include the following to make her transition easier: *We have a full 40lb bag of food, you can mix it with what you want to use (to ease her into it)or buy the same. *the Kong brand XL crate mat *her nighttime dog bed *any of her toys we find around (oversized tennis ball, rubber bones for playing fetch) *Pet Safe EZ-Walk harness for walks *Anxiety vest (we got this to try and it didn’t seem to help or hurt. I’ll have to find it) *Kong fillable toy, large size *1 bag of training treats *any/all dog waste bags for walks *20 foot chain/cable for backyard
