Boat Yacht Cleaner / Cleaner Contractor (Burlington) Compensation: Per cleaning or hourly Employment type: contract Boat Cleaning Associate / Contractor Position Summary: Sailboat (both monohulls and catamaran) charter company is seeking boat cleaners or a cleaning contractor to clean our yachts on a regular basis. The cleaning includes both interior and exterior, linen service and installation. The Boat Cleaning Associate / contractor primarily works cleaning the interior and exterior of rental sailboats and catamarans ranging from 38’ to 50’. Essential Functions: • Must be able to efficiently clean a sailboat or catamaran to a high standard. This includes but is not limited to: all surfaces cleaned, trash removed, floors vacuumed and mopped, linens changed, and that galley, bathroom sinks, tubs and toilets are cleaned. Must also fill water tanks and clean barbecue. Also must ensure all common items used are restocked and any damages or missing items are replaced • May be required to deep clean boats – using a ladder to clean walls and ceilings • Linen service - you will be responsible for dropping off all bed linens and towels at local laundry, picking up, and installing in cabins before charter. • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager Qualifications: • Previous custodial or boat or yacht cleaning experience preferred. Willing to train motivated individuals. • Comfortability working outdoors, on water, and in fluctuating temperatures. • Frequent standing, lifting, carrying. • Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks. • Reliable, trustworthy with positive attitude Your schedule is dependent on the charter schedule, so flexibility when you are able to work is needed. You will be given a schedule in advance of the charter turn around days for proper planning. Must be able to start immediately until approximate third week of September. Location: Our boats are located in Burlington.
