This class presents content similar to the Prepared Childbirth Series, but in a condensed, one-day seminar format. Topics covered include the emotional and physical changes of pregnancy, labor, and birth; ways to cope with labor; how your support person can help; routine hospital procedures; and pain relief options. Tour of the Women’s Pavilion included. The $40 fee for this class series covers both the mother and a support person, and a support person is encouraged to attend.
