Acquaint yourself with some local pollinators on the library lawn!
Audiences will acquaint themselves with some of our local pollinators, featuring bees, bats, hummingbirds, beetles, dragonflies and butterflies. Audiences will learn how to build and maintain habitats that help our pollinator populations, what time of year to mow fields that is most beneficial to pollinators, and what flowers to grow in our gardens to attract butterflies and bees. After the presentation, children will create pollinator tee shirts.
Please bring a towel or blankets for your family to sit on during the program. Please specify the number of children you are bringing when signing up.
If it is raining on the day of the program, staff will post to the Burnham Library Youth Services Facebook page and our website any scheduling changes.
