HIDDEN GEM IN THE HEART OF LONG BEACH - EXCLUSIVE ACCESS NOT NORMALLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC The Southern California Hibiscus Society has found another hidden gem in Southern California at a location not typically open to the public. The Long Beach Veterans Therapy Gardens is a beautiful, well taken care of oasis in the middle of the city worth a visit. You will be shocked at what you see tucked away from all the busy streets nearby. We will be holding our July meeting here surrounded by colorful flowering plants, rare trees, streams, greenhouses and much more. A guided tour will be given to give the full breadth of the therapy gardens. As always we will be having our ever insightful hibiscus seminar as well as our famous hibiscus plant auction and raffle featuring some hard to get stunning bloomers. You will need to purchase Eventbrite tickets to reserve your spot so use the following links to do so. We ask that you make a donation to cover the costs of our meeting and plant auction when you purchase tickets. Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated! Please enter the VA property off of Bellflower Blvd at the Sam Johnson Rd entrance. Take the road east and it will circle north into Elm Rd. You will see the garden on the right side and can park along this street for convenient access.
