Molly has traveled the roads of the American music tradition and returned to sing about it with an authentic and sage voice. To see her perform live is an unforgettable experience. An incomparable singer and songwriter with compelling depth and soul and cutting lyrics draws from the deep roots of Americana music. Writing songs that ring true her singing is a fine balance of deep and soulful, somewhere between Lucinda Williams and Bonnie Raitt. Twangy and lament-filled spirit, guitar driven country-folk-jam with a blues swagger. If it is possible for a band to own a town then Molly Maher and her band of Disbelievers have to be about as close as it gets to holding the keys. Backed by Maher's "Disbelievers" all local veterans and accomplished musicians in their own right. R. L. Boyce is a Grammy nominated American blues singer, songwriter, and guitarist born and raised in Como, Mississippi, United States. He is a protege of Hill country blues musicians including R.L. Burnside, and Mississippi Fred McDowell. R.L. Boyce’s Hill Country Blues is effortlessly transcendent and mesmerizing. Capturing the juke-joint, moonshine fueled, picnic party life of Como, Mississippi, Boyce takes the listener through Saturday night and over that fine line that separates it from Sunday morning. This is god-fearing music on Mississippi terms. Cutting Edge Bluesman LIGHTNIN MALCOLM, a charismatic and energetic guitar slinger with a deep soulful voice, has taken his irresistable Dance grooves from Juke Joint teen years as a One Man Band to World stages with mainstream artists such as Robert Plant, Jimmy Buffett, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, The Black Keys, Widespread Panic, Big Head Todd, North Mississippi Allstars, Lucero, and Gary Clark Jr. Sprouted from a blend of American folk, country, rock-n-roll, and blues, Erik Koskinen and his top-shelf band realize a sound that is distinctive and fresh while familiar and classic. On April 2nd, the Minnesota songsmith announces the June 28th release of Burning The Deal on Real Phonic Records/Tone Tree Music, sharing the shuffling “Big Plane” video. The clip features Amelia Fleetwood (daughter of Mick) and the track is out now. 7pm - Lightnin' Malcom7:30pm - RL Boyce8:30pm - Break 15min -8:45pm - Erik Koskinen9:15pm - Moly Maher-----Food & BeverageThe Hook & Ladder Theater boasts a full bar with exciting signature summer drinks, ice cold Summit Brewing beer and has also partnered with food vendors to present an exciting summer menu along with a number of scheduled ‘pop-up’ chef appearances.
