I never tell you who can or can’t be judged.—- Just because you were lucky enough to be born in the United States does not mean that you should not have a debt of gratitude for America taking your parents or grandparents in. —First in my place late 1700s that would be more like great-great-great-great-great-great grandparents, I do have a debt of gratitude but how does that mean we have to have open borders and no reasonable immigration limits and controls? I don’t follow your logic. The USA allows MORE people than any other country on Earth to LEGALLY immigrate here, we don’t need huge additional numbers and we need ZERO illegal immigrants. My ancestor immigrated here LEGALLY and I have no problem with any immigrant that comes here LEGALLY. Look, please allow me to explain myself. Here is my level of caring/love for people from highest to lowest Close family Distant family Friends Neighbors People in this country who I feel common bonds with that have the same norms, culture, language, political beliefs Strangers who I don’t have commonality with Immigrants Illegal immigrants Bad people in the country bad illegal immigrants You see my “give a shit” quota is pretty damned near nonexistent when you get down to the last 2 or so and just a little higher for the 3rd to last. They don’t care about me, you think they care about you? They come here to help themselves.
