Press release from SECWAC: June 25, 2021 The Southeast Connecticut World Affairs Council (SECWAC) announced today that Fiona Hill is to speak on the domestic and foreign policy challenges of dealing with Vladimir Putin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, via Zoom. The virtual presentation is free for members; $20 for non-members. Registration is required. Long-time Russia expert Dr. Fiona Hill will discuss the challenges faced by the US in formulating a consistent foreign policy to deal with Vladimir Putin's approach to international relations. She will discuss the Biden-Putin meeting in the context of past interactions between Putin and US presidents. Dr. Hill will also provide a glimpse of her book "There is Nothing for You Here: Finding Opportunity in the 21st Century", due out in October 2021.
