Looking for like-minded, quality players to put something together here in Nashville I have seen very little of - a solid rock band with mix of quality tunes we grew up playing and listening to. Audiences are sophisticated now and recognize great songs when they hear them. Been a rhythm/lead guitarist for many years. Can still sing anything within reason for a tenor voice. Did local, regional touring & studio work mostly in 80's, 90's and 2000's. Relocated to Nashville but culture is different here. Rock & pop/rock is in my DNA. and people still love to hear bands that rock. I have been the nucleus of several bands over the years - it takes commitment, choice material, songwriting eventually & proper equipment and desire to perform. The rest will take care of itself. Started out at 16 playing backyard parties, freebies, youth dances, high school dances, and frat parties with older players who could get us into bars. Ended up years later playing with local & regional acts with albums and opening for many notable artists (I have many "Working Personnel" passes from shows I opened). Hit me up if you are looking to play rock with style (not partial to metal - just not my strong suit). Can play rock & ballads, complimentary guitar parts, & rock with feeling. Have loads of great gear, mics, amps, pedals, percussion. We would need a place to rehearse at least once a week - there are many around Nashville area. Interested? Let's talk...
