Female - 1 year old German/Shepherd mix. Ayda is a loyal dog. Intelligent, and always alert - she is a large ball of energy. She loves bouncing and rolling around on the trampoline and absolutely loves her dog pool. She would be a great loyal friend to someone who loves being outdoors - she is a dog who needs to expend energy and loves to play! Ayda is having to be rehomed due to some issues with dominance/aggression towards her sister from the same litter, she has a dominant personality. She will do best in a home as an only dog as she loves to be the center of attention. She does reactive guard to strangers and needs an owner who is experienced with handling this behavior. She takes time to warm up to strangers for her safety and theirs and will be clear she needs space to get to know a person. This is a loyal guarding dog and will guard her territory and her people. She will need a home with a fully fenced yard since she loves to run, play and explore. She would also do best in a home without smaller children as she is unaware of her own large size and strength - although she has done exceptionally well with our children.
