Some dont understand what we have

In a recent trip to the D.C. area I had the opportunity to talk to a group of professionals from various parts of Africa (primarily the West coast) who where all legal immigrants. I had the opportunity to ask them why they were compelled to come to the United States, they were educated, and mentioned that they came from families with connections and resources. To the person, they all said that Americans do not realize what they have, they don't understand true oppression and discrimination and that they don't understand what it is like to live in fear that political group from a different tribe or religion may come to your door in the middle of the night. They expressed concern that America is not the the country it was 5 years ago and unless they learn to accept history instead of trying to negate and rewrite it American will be lost. The left should walk a mile in their shoes before the trash our country.
