Last Wednesday afternoon 6/23 in the check out line at Whole Foods Santa Barbara. I turned around and we gazed at each other almost with a moment of recognition. You smiled beautifully and shyly waved. It was then my turn at the register and I smiled back even though I wore a mask. Wish there had been time to say hello. Hope there might be in the future.
