Drummer starting group

Hello: I've been playing/practicing for about 10 years, and have been in a few local bands. I'm not a legit pro at this point, but I do practice seriously, with the aim of improving my playing and musicianship. While my experience as a band member has been exclusively with rock, I'm not necessarily looking to start another one. A definite rock influence will be there though. I would especially like to have a synth player in the group. Other than that, I don't have anything super particular in mind. I would like to build this from the ground up. And here's a link to a track I played on about five years ago. I'm just learning to film, etc drum covers and so on, and I'll try to add on by the end of next weekend.
