Description
Throughout the last weeks we’ve noticed stray kittens pop up and today we counted a total of seven. ( we think that’s all but we have no idea) I caught a kitten a few weeks ago and now we have a whole lot more, it’s crazy. I guess most litters are never just one so I expect the worse.
I was originally planning on making a post looking for help catching them and getting them rehomed as they are all definitely young enough for it. There is two litters of four. One being definitely around or over eight weeks but these younger ones popped up and they appear to be under eight weeks. Three moms are in the area. Two of them share one litter (feeding and watching over them) and the other cat is the mom of the younger litter.
Tonight when I walked out with my dogs I had the opportunity to catch what I thought would be one but ended up being three. It is three of the four kittens under eight weeks. (I will add photos in the morning once they’ve calmed down. They are very scared obviously!) I just fostered my sisters accidental litter so luckily I have some supplies to take care of them to the best of my ability for a few days but I cannot keep them as I don’t have the space or resources.
I’m looking for someone to take in this litter and if possible someone with live traps to attempts to catch the rest of the kittens and get them taken care of as well. My roommates and I are going to be trying to get the three strays females spayed as soon as we can afford it but until then we just want to make sure any kittens that come out are given a far chance and I’d hate to see a rise in the cat population anymore then we already have in the last year or so.
If any one is able to help please email me and I’ll get back to you asap. I don’t put my number on ad as I get enough spam calls. I live in Canton, OH 44705. Not far from Malone University.
