Description
Rock guitarist that can handle a range of duties from clean to mean. I bring a professional yet easy going attitude to the table. My focus is to serve the song with an emphasis on working with the rhythm section to support the vocals out front. I play lead guitar and I can co-exist with another guitarist. I don’t shred and I don’t noodle.
My interests range wide from good old rock & roll to blues rock to psychedelic to country rock to hard rock to some progressive rock. No metal, no punk.
Especially interested in collaborating with aspiring musicians that are looking to create original music. I welcome working with anyone to support a mutually interesting project they would like to push forward.
Musicians interested in forming a modern psych rock band with a female vocalist would be ideal.
I enjoy playing covers from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, et cetera. Not interested in dive bar gigs where the band is getting home after midnight.
I’m happy to met up for a causal jam session or open mic night to play some and to discover any common interests that can be built upon.
Influences include Chuck Berry, Johnny Guitar Watson, Freddy King, Albert King, James Brown, Waylon Jennings, Beatles, Kinks, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, T. Rex, Black Sabbath, ZZ Top, Flying Burrito Brothers, Joe Walsh, Eagles, AC/DC, Tom Petty, Rush, Dramarama, Pixes, Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, Aimee Mann, Pete Droge, Foo Fighters, Iron & Wine, Dr. Dog, Band Of Horses and Black Mountain. If it’s good music, I probably like it.
