I am seeking a personal assistant in Elk Grove. I have a disability, and I use a power wheelchair to move about in this world. I need an assistant to hang out with me on the weekends and help me with all kinds of tasks. I love to watch movies, swim in my backyard pool, go for coffee or pizza, take my dog for a walk, tinker with my technology, amateur radios, and computers. I need help with all activities of daily living. My weekend assistant helps me start my day by getting me out of bed and ready. This includes helping me with using the restroom, grooming, bathing, dressing and eating. It isn't all that hard, and I will teach you what you need to know. I have a ceiling lift that makes it easy to move me. Sometimes I might need help with some administrative tasks, so if you have good writing research and spelling skills, here is a place to show them off, and maybe even grow your professional knowledge. Why work for me? I tell the best dad jokes and I always sing off key. Who wouldn't want to hang out with me? If you have another job and need some extra hours, or go to school and need something that jives with your school schedule or even some down time to do your homework, this is the job for you. The shifts are a bit flexible if necessary. There are up to 24 hours (12 Saturday and 12 Sunday) available. You are welcome to swim in our pool with us and even on your lunch break if you want! If you have a specific movie you want to watch, bring it! A little bit more about me: I am a 55 year old married professional male. Our home is happy and busy. We have two dogs, so if you need doggie cuddles, they are free here. We are adding to our team because a cherished team member has moved out of state to pursue their dreams. We love our assistants and strive to be supportive and positive. We do offer some benefits to our part timers. We have accident and sickness policies, and life insurance available. Full timers can get health insurance, vision and dental. No previous experience is needed. We will train you.
