These are a clutch that was surrendered to me so I would say pet only, please be responsible and research these little guys before purchasing! For one axolotl they need a cycled 20 gallon tank (long preferably) and for each additional axolotl add 10 gallons. Also double the filtration per gallon is recommended (so if you have a 40 gallon tank get 80 gallon filters). They are cold water animals so please keep it under 65°f. Again I recommend these as pet only because I do not know the grandparents and these were surrendered to me so please be responsible. They are about 3 to 4 inches about 4 months old. Expect them to grow to around 8 to 12 inches. If you 🇺🇲 me make sure you're not being a hypocrite 🙂 I take in these beautiful creatures often- rehabilitate, treat sicknesses, make sure they have a good diet, and try to overall create a comfortable home for them until I can find them homes.
