Trumpet player wants to play jazz in a small group

I'm a beginner improviser who played jazz in high school and have played trumpet in local community bands in the suburbs of Philly area since I returned to music as an adult. Looking for other musicians to form a small, amateur jazz band. I can provide my basement or garage as a venue, but also willing to travel to join other groups if invited. I'm not the best soloist, but I think to get better I need the inspiration I get from other musicians. I'm mostly interested in jazz standards, but I don't have strong preferences when it comes to song choices.
