A2 Fabrication is a dynamic, full-service shop that provides both metal fabrication and field installation. We are looking for a responsible, self-motivated and team-oriented individual to keep our team of welder/fabricators busy by cutting metal stock to size. Job duties include, but are not limited to: sawing, driving, loading & unloading, painting, lifting heavy objects, drilling, sanding, grinding, cleaning and other miscellaneous tasks. Welding experience is a plus, but not required. This job can lead to other positions within the shop. Sawyer We are looking for an Individual who: • Can communicate effectively and work in a team environment • Is looking to get into a career in welding and metal fabrication • Can SAFELY operate shop and field tools, power tools and other machinery & equipment • Maintains attention to details • Can safely use band saws and other metal cutting saws to cut metal to customer specifications • Can deburr parts as necessary • Is able to apply basic math skills including conversion of fractions to decimals and vice versa • Can read a tape measure and other measuring devices • Can demonstrate safe use of overhead cranes including sling and magnet rigging • Recognizes different types of steel and how they affect cutting • Can receive material into the shop and unload delivery trucks • Has reliable transportation to/from work • Has a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license • Can pass a drug test and background check Education/Experience: • High School Diploma or equivalent Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Health insurance • Dental insurance • Vacation/holidays/sick days
