Per "Accuracy in Media": The Covington Catholic School children. Jussie Smollett. And now Lafayette Square Park. Again and again, the media jump to conclusions and publish stories that later turn out to be lies. This week, an Inspector General report said that despite widespread media depictions otherwise, the United States Park Police (USPP) did not clear Lafayette Park on June 1, 2020 to arrange a photo-op for President Trump. NPR, CNN, ABC News, and countless other outlets each ran stories saying that police tear-gassed peaceful protestors to move them out of the way for Trump’s entourage. This turned out to be a lie. ** Add to that one that police enforcement under Trump's control tear gassed protestors at other protests. That too turned out a lie. Mayor Bowser (DC Democrat mayor) own police were forced to admit THEY used tear gas in recent court filings. DC is only 12 square miles and the democrat mayor is well-connected with democrats in Congress and this administration, so what are the odds that the democrats in Congress were UNaware it was actually the democrat run police gass'ing the protestors and not Trump? A: ZERO ** “Look what we did, we [CNN] got Trump out. I am 100% going to say it, and I 100% believe that if it wasn’t for CNN, I don’t know that Trump would have got voted out,” CNN's Chester tells the Project Veritas undercover journalist in the sting video. “I came to CNN because I wanted to be a part of that.” The director discusses at least one situation where CNN intentionally crafted a story questioning Trump’s health, a story that amounted to “propaganda.” The president’s “hand was shaking or whatever, I think. We brought in so many medical people to tell a story that was all speculation — that he was neurologically damaged, and he was losing it,” Chester recalls. “He’s unfit to — you know, whatever.” “If the agenda, say, is to like get, like Matt Gaetz right now—he’s like this Republican. He’s a problem for the Democratic Party because he’s so conservative and he can cause a lot of hiccups in the passing of laws and whatnot,” Chester says in the undercover video. “So, it would be great for the Democratic Party to get him out. So we’re [CNN] going to keep running those stories to keep hurting him. and make it so that it can’t be buried, and like just settled outside of court and just like, you know, if we keep pushing that, it’s helping us [CNN].”
