Looking to rent a car from Seattle to Salt lake

Hi. My husband snd I are taking an extended vacation, traveling to Seattle Tacoma area on August 4th. Visiting relatives there for a few days then embarking on a sightseeing trip from Tacoma thru western and southern Idaho. We are going to hopefully tackle hiking Idaho’s Borah Peak. From there we are driving to Salt Lake City to catch a flight home to Albuquerque NM on Aug 11th. We would like to rent a reliable car (just like the Turo app) but it would have to be a one way drop off, which would be at the SLC airport. We would pay for owner’s one way flight from Seattle to SLC and a hotel stay for drive home. We have car insurance thru Hartford. We are a semi-retired couple and want to see more of the northwest. To rent cars one way thru Expedia or even Enterprise are asking 1300.00 + for a week. I know this sounds crazy.. not even sure how to even take care of a transaction like this or what a sound, fair price would be but would like to see if there is anyone interested and willing to discuss Thank you.
