Description
We are in need of some work on our doors. Thankfully, this would be inside and out of the heat mostly. To do this job, you must have some wood working skill, experience with doors and a router & bits. I have the rest of the tools if needed.
Door #1- Interior door to the basement. I installed a prehung door. Turns out I got the wrong kind of door and it looks awful. This is an 1891 house, so the thickness of the walls is such that a special door frame is needed. I manufactured the door frame in my wood shop. But I don’t have a router of any kind so I need some who is able to mark and route out the hinges and the door catch doo-hicky. Then, I need you to install the door. I have shims.
Door #2- This one is pretty straight-forward. Interior door/frame to the bathroom. We had to remove the bathroom door for our bathroom reno. It is ready to be reinstalled. This one does have a funky trim job to cover a thick wall on one side and not the other. But we have all of the molding and everything from the old install.
